House of The Locust Characters: Roblox Cast Guide
One creature owns the nest today: The Locust, created by DoctorNowhere. The Boiled One is announced but not live. Cast dossiers, lore ties and threat behavior.
The current cast: exactly one active threat
The Locust is the only confirmed creature inside the pre-alpha build. Character sheets describe a completely black, lanky humanoid with thin stick-like arms and a deformed face whose eyes read as hollow sockets under red lighting.
Functionally it behaves as an instant-kill patroller: direct line-of-sight contact ends your run immediately, so every survival tactic revolves around never being seen or cornered in the first place.
Who created The Locust
The credit sits publicly on the game’s Roblox listing: the character is originally created by DoctorNowhere. NULLWORKS STUDIOS develops and publishes the Roblox experience itself.
Deeper roots trace through Doctor Nowhere’s analog-horror work: the entity originated in the T.O.E. series, which was later folded into the SMILEHOOD canon, and fan wikis catalog appearances across episodes like Starving.Help, Love.Thumper and Making.Friends.
Boiled One — announced, not playable
The developers teased the next addition on the official in-game banner: IMPROVED LOCUST INTELLIGENCE AND BOILED ONE COMING NEXT UPDATE. So a second named antagonist is officially coming — with zero mechanical details released.
Until that update lands, anything describing how the Boiled One hunts, moves or kills is imagination, not information.
The wider Doctor Nowhere catalogue
Creatures such as TOE1, Long Boy Bonsai and Jeppy belong to Doctor Nowhere’s broader universe. Fan wikis document them for lore completeness, but none has been announced for House of The Locust — resist videos presenting them as secret in-game monsters.
Reading The Locust’s behavior
Audio order defines threat level. Footsteps mean patrolling nearby. Breathing layered on footsteps marks the community’s agreed danger threshold. Visual contact is the strike window — past that point only a planned escape route or a crawlspace saves the run.
